Police say that prior to their arrival, the victim, 55-year-old Jon VanDeusen of Binghamton was located by a Mercy Flight Medevac helicopter. The helicopter was able to direct first responders to the scene. WEBB, N.Y. (WBNG) — Authorities in the town of Webb responded to a snowmobile accident on the Stillwater Reservoir Thursday night. Once authorities arrived, it was determined that CPR had been initiated by fellow snowmobile riders the victim was with, but was unsuccessful. Police believe VanDeusen was driving the snowmobile and struck a large ice heave. Authorities say the vehicle became airborne, causing unknown injuries to the victim.center_img Assisting at the scene was Big Moose Fire Department, Mercy Flight Central and, Lewis County Search and Rescue and employees at the Stillwater Hotel.
